The day Mason proposed he took me for a day out in Greenville,SC. With Covid precautions in place at that time we had not been going out very often, so just going to get some coffee, visit our favorite bookshop, look at some Christmas decorations, and eat dinner downtown was an exciting prospect. If I’m being honest, I thought Mason might propose soon as at this point I knew he had previously had plans to propose earlier in the year that didn’t work out due to the pandemic. That being said, by the time dinner was done I thought we had just had a nice day out but that was it. When we got home we both walked the dog and settled in for the night. I was on the couch playing with Charlie when Mason walked in, got down on one knee, and asked me to marry him. I now realize when people say they “black out” during this that they aren’t lying because I honestly have no idea what he said, but I can say that I can’t think of a more perfect way for us to start our life together.
We’ll be getting married January 22,2022 at the History Museum of Mobile. Dress will be cocktail attire. Please RSVP by Novemver 22,2021!
