We met on the dating website, Tinder. We hit it off talking about our favorite TV shows and music. Our first date was at a restaurant in Takoma Park, Maryland. We ate, talked and laughed the night away. We have been together ever since.

It was a Friday and we were out for our date night. We had just gotten dinner and we were going to different arcade/bars when suddenly Malik "suggested" that they go home because his tooth was "hurting". When we arrived home the scene had been set (S/O Angel!). Everything in our place was dark except for the dim light coming from dozens of candles and roses that made a trail to the table. Nicole stopped dead in her tracks and said "What the fu*k?" We walked up to the table and Malik recited a written poem relaying his feelings on their past present and future. Then he plucked an ornamental box from the table surrounded by rings of candles and rose petals and got down on one knee. Nicole asked "Are you serious?!" Malik popped the question. Nicole said "Yes!" .
