Past the uncertainty and hesitation, she realized he has a genuinely good heart. Turns out, his persistence was the key to hers. On the night of February 14, 2023, Luis asked Nicole to be his girlfriend under clear skies and bright stars. And that’s when their real story began. It didn’t take long to realize just how opposite they are. While he runs on "Dominican time," she stays ahead of schedule. While he likes to figure things out along the way, she likes to plan just about everything, down to the details he didn’t even know needed planning. Yet, they learned the art of compromise. Meaning he goes with the flow, while she is the flow. Over the years, they’ve grown closer to each other’s families. And somewhere along the way, they found home in each other. They realized they wanted the same things in life, shared the same dreams, and envisioned building a future together. On August 8, 2025, Luis got down on one knee and popped the question. She said yes. They found their rhythm through laughter, faith, and the beauty of everyday moments, learning that love doesn’t need to be perfect to be real. Now, these two who once lived in different worlds are choosing each other for life. As they prepare to enter the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony, they’re ready for a lifetime of love, family, faith, and proving that sometimes the person you least expect is exactly the one God had planned all along.
