Maid of Honor
I met Liz when I was working at Martin Williams and we decided to be roommates over many beers at a Twins game. I spent my late 20's making so many great memories with her. She is one of those people that everyone meets and immediately loves. She also has this annoying thing that she does, where she is just good at EVERYTHING :) (I am serious, everything) Beyond that she is thoughtful, considerate, hilarious and all around one of the best humans I know. Introduce yourself to Liz at the wedding, you'll see what I mean. Unless, she's dancing, then stand back and watch a master at work.
Bridesmaid
Jen and I go way back, back to HS days, but we really became close when I moved to back to Minneapolis. She and I share a passion for healthful and active living, so most Saturdays when the sun is out you will find us walking the lakes, belly laughing and catching up on the weeks events. This year with a new addition - baby GUS! She is THE best listener and is really a role model for me in so many different ways. Her and I have a connection where we just really understand eachother and how we tick. When they say someone is wise beyond their years, they are talking about people like Jen. She is like the sister I never had and I don't know what I'd do without her.
Bridesmaid
Becky and I have known eachother for 20 + years.... Becky we are old! We met in highschool and were literally attached at the hip. She had a car, I had a cell phone and between the two of us we could conquer the teenage world. We have spent years living in different states, going through different experiences while being near and far from eachother, but whenever we see eachother its like time has not passed. She knows every Nicole story in existence and all my deepest secrets dating back to age 13! Couldn't imagine this special day or my life without her in it.
Bridesmaid
My adventure partner! Amy is in every story I tell about her my "fun friend." She lives her life outside the lines and that approach to things is infectious when you spend time with her. Those who are close to me know I lean into routine and control. She makes it obvious that a life well lived doesn't always look like that. Amy and I traveled through Spain and Italy together during the trip of lifetime and created many prosecco filled moments I will never forget. She knows the the words "bubbles" and "snacks" perk my ears up and is always on board for planning a new trip. She is always jet setting off somewhere, ask her where she is off to next!
Best Man
Ian has always brought so much energy and laughter to our family. He always has a smile on his face and is a person that everyone wants to be around. Whether it be riding roller coasters at Great America (and making both of his big brothers get sick while trying to keep up) or breaking the world record for consecutive summersaults in Lake Petenwell, Ian finds joy and excitement in anything life has to offer. For the first 18 years of Ian’s life Reid and I treated him as our “little brother”, and ever since he’s been my best friend who I can always count on. He’s a great listener and makes everyone feel important, which is why he has been the best man in five weddings!
Best Man
I’ve always looked up to Reid. Being only one grade apart, it’s been a constant uphill battle trying to compete with him. He and I battled in sports on a daily basis, and I can count on one hand the number of times I actually beat him. Although Reid and I were constantly battling, we always looked out for each other. I’ve always admired Reid’s toughness and his ability to bounce back from difficult situations. After college Reid and I lived together in Milwaukee and thoroughly enjoyed the downtown life for a few years. Reid’s toughness and dedication is now on display as a husband and new father. Nicole and I love spending time with his family and watching his son (Charlie) grow up.
Groomsman
Brandon is my oldest friend. Growing up Brandon was the star athlete and ladies’ man, but you wouldn’t know it by talking to him. He’s the type of guy that would dunk over your head in basketball, but would be sure to help you up and feed you a compliment. Brandon and I have experienced everything in our lives together (grade school, high school, college, summer jobs, music festivals, Brewers/Badgers/Bucks games). Everything in life is more enjoyable when Brandon is around, and you always walk away from a conversation with a smile on your face. No matter how much time goes by without seeing each other, when we get together it’s like time hasn’t stopped.
Groomsman
Joey and I met when we were seniors in high school on a college visit to Winona State. As two undersized linebackers dreaming about playing college football, we had an instant bond. After a ‘rowdy’ weekend in Winona, I figured I would never see that guy again. A year later at the first day of football practice at UW-Whitewater, Joey was one of the first guys I ran into. He and I ended up living two rooms away from each other in the dorms and immediately were inseparable - people assumed we were brothers. Joey is the master at striking up in-depth conversations with strangers and everyone immediately takes a liking to him. He has an incredible ability to make everyone feel good about themselves.
