While Kevin was visiting his friends Steve and Lauren (who was pregnant with Carter at the time) he began complaining about how hard it was to meet people these days. In walks Sara who just heard this same story from Nicole and finally makes the connection that the two would be perfect for each other. Sara gave Kevin Nicole's number, and she waited by her phone for 3 days waiting for Kevin to text her. Fast forward five years later, now living in their first home together with their cat, Django, the two head to New Hampshire for a weekend away at the Omni Mount Washington. Halfway through their carriage ride, with the beautiful view of the mountains in the background and champagne in their hands, Kevin got down on one knee and popped the question. Nicole said YES (actually her response was "but it's not April" and she put the ring on, but same thing) and the rest is history.
