Why a destination wedding? / Por que una boda de destino?

As we have friends and family throughout different cities/countries we decided it would be best to bring all of our loved ones to a Beautiful country to celebrate with us. Como tenemos amigos y familiares en diferentes ciudades y países, decidimos que sería mejor traer a todos nuestros seres queridos a un hermoso país para celebrar con nosotros.

Do I need a passport? / Necesito un pasaporte?
Answer
Yes! Passports are required to enter into Mexico. Please make sure your passport is not expired. For those who will be obtaining your passport, it can take up to 7-12 weeks for processing times. The link to passport applications and renewals will be below. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports.html ¡Sí! Se requieren pasaportes para ingresar a México. Por favor asegúrese de que su pasaporte no esté vencido. Para aquellos que obtendrán su pasaporte, el tiempo de procesamiento puede demorar entre 7 y 12 semanas. Do I have to stay at the designated resort? / Tengo que quedarme en el resort designado?
Answer
Yes, the hotel requires that all quests must stay at the resort to participate in any wedding events. If there is a valid reason why you cannot stay at the resort please notify Nicole or Kevin immediately. Guests not staying at the resort will only be allowed on the property for the hours of the specific wedding events and will require a special, paid pass organized by the resort. Sí, el hotel exige que todos los huéspedes se queden en el resort para participar en cualquier evento de boda. Si hay una razón válida por la que no puede quedarse en el resort, notifique a Nicole o Kevin de inmediato. Our dream is to have an intimate wedding with the people who we love and those who have supported us throughout our lives and relationship. All invitees will be addressed on the invitation. If your invitation says "+ Guest," then we invite you to bring a date. Otherwise, we kindly ask that it just be the addressed guest(s) in attendance. Thank you for understanding. Nuestro sueño es tener una boda íntima con las personas que amamos y quienes nos han apoyado a lo largo de nuestra vida y relación. Todos los invitados serán abordados en la invitación. Can I bring my kids? / Puedo traer a mis hijos?

Children will be specifically addressed on the invitations or your invitation will be addressed to "The X Family." Please DO NOT bring children unless specified on your invitation. An option for child care would be traveling with a family member who can watch the children while you attend the wedding festivities. There is also a Kids club at the resort with kids activities. Either take advantage of a child-free night or a child-free get-away! Las invitaciones se dirigirán específicamente a los niños o su invitación estará dirigida a "La Familia X". NO traiga niños a menos que se especifique en su invitación. Una opción para el cuidado de niños sería viajar con un miembro de la familia que pueda cuidar a los niños mientras usted asiste a las festividades de la boda. What will the weather be like? / Como sera el clima?

Though we are not sure of what the weather is like, it is known to rain in the months of May-July in Mexico. We are prepared for alternate locations within the resort if it does rain or if there is a storm. It may be hot so pack clothes for the heat. Our ceremony and reception will be taking place on the beach so expect to have sand between your toes! We will have a hard-floor dance floor. Aunque no estamos seguros de cómo será el clima, se sabe que llueve en los meses de mayo a julio en México. Estamos preparados para ubicaciones alternativas dentro del resort si llueve o hay una tormenta. Puede que haga calor, así que lleve ropa para el calor. Nuestra ceremonia y recepción se llevarán a cabo en la playa, ¡así que espere tener arena entre los dedos de los pies! Tendremos una pista de baile de piso duro.

While we understand that this is a tropical destination, we ask that you please dress in formal attire. We kindly request that guests refrain from wearing jeans, refrain from wearing colors reserved for the bride such as white/ivory. por favor vístete con ropa formal. We are very appreciative of your presence at our wedding since it is going to be a destination wedding. For that reason, gifts are not necessary. Please RSVP no later than March 19th, 2025. Since we are having a destination wedding it is important to have a final guest count to give to the resort. Confirme su asistencia a más tardar el 19 de marzo de 2025. Dado que vamos a celebrar una boda de destino, es importante tener un recuento final de invitados para dárselo al resort.
