Don't hesitate to reach out if you can't make the walk to the venue (and it's okay if you can't!).
We are getting married at the Ellie Mitchell Pavilion. It is a unique and historic cobblestone castle located on the property of Rocky Neck State Park. After getting married Friday night (of Memorial Day Weekend) at the Castle, we invite all friends and family to camp with us through the weekend, per Kelsey's family tradition. Most of our older guests and/or guests who don't enjoy camping will be at nearby hotels. We will be sure to meet up at the casinos/ nearby restaurants and bars while you're all in town. Hotel stayers are also more than welcome to come enjoy evenings at the campground for Memorial day fires, burgers, dogs, smores, beach days, and camping fun. Those who were not invited to the ceremony because we kept it on the smaller side, we encourage you to reach out and book a site at Rocky Neck with the rest of our wedding guests. We're sorry we couldn't afford you at the ceremony, but we'd LOVE your presence at the campground to celebrate! Any and all are welcome. Reach out to Kelsey or Nikki if you're curious who else has booked/want to share a site with a friend (each site can fit 6 tents. You could split the cost). Happy Camping!
Kelsey has been camping out at Rocky Neck since before he was born, in his mom's belly. Every year on Memorial Day, him and his family would rent a site in tent city. When Kelsey and Nikki started getting serious, she was invited to the yearly camping tradition, and it became something everyone looked forward to. Unfortunately the tradition stopped for Kelsey and Nikki once they decided to travel full-time in their camper across the US. For sentimental reasons, this is why the wedding will take place at Rocky Neck.
