FAQs

Question

Are there any “wedding rules” we need to know?

Answer

Just one big one: no drama allowed. This means no sensitive topics, no heated debates, and no uncomfortable conversations. Our wedding is a happy space for everyone, and we fully intend to protect that energy. If someone forgets this rule and causes issues, they’ll be asked to leave — no exceptions. Come ready to laugh, dance, and celebrate love.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommendations. Feel free to text Nicole if you would like to double check on areas of AirBNBs or with any questions before booking (especially if you want to stay in CLT…) (AirBNBs are scarce for our area but we have seen a few within 30-40 minutes of the house. If you find one that works for you and would prefer that over one of the hotels, please book it ASAP)

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to text Nicole at 862-224-2550

Question

Is there anything we should know about the venue?

Answer

Our wedding will take place outside at our home/land, surrounded by beautiful open space and nature — which means a few bumps and dips in the ground come with the charm! We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and being mindful of your step while exploring the property. By RSVPing “Yes,” guests acknowledge that their attendance is voluntary and that the hosts are not responsible or liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur.

Question

Will there be Vegetarian/Vegan Options?

Answer

Yes! We want to make sure that all of our friends and family eat! We are doing our best to make sure we have a great assortment of food so everyone can enjoy the cocktail hour and dinner no matter what allergy, preference or dietary lifestyle.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’ve thoughtfully assigned plus ones to certain guests, and this will be reflected when you RSVP. If you’ve been given a plus one, you’ll see an option to add their name during the RSVP process. If you don’t see that option, your invitation is just for you — thank you so much for understanding as we work to keep our guest list balanced and meaningful!

Question

Can we smoke on the property?

Answer

For everyone’s safety and comfort, smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere in the wedding area. The ceremony and reception spaces are surrounded by hay fields and brush, and we also want to be mindful of guests with asthma and smoke sensitivities. If you need to smoke or vape, please do so only in the driveway area outside of the carport. We kindly ask that guests refrain entirely if possible. Thank you so much for helping us keep the space safe and enjoyable for everyone!

Question

Will the dogs be there?

Answer

Yes! The dogs will be a part of the wedding ceremony and photographs and will be brought inside for the rest of the evening (aside from a brief appearance at dinner to eat with the bride and groom). We ask that anyone who is nervous of dogs please sit in a seat during the ceremony that is further out from an aisle seat as they will be coming down the aisle. We also ask that no one stare at Havoc as it makes him uncomfortable and he will start to act like an absolute menace if he realizes it (we wish we were kidding). All dogs will be leashed the entire length of the ceremony so there will be no free roaming for any of our nervous guests. We also encourage any dog lovers to give Mercy attention as she is the only well behaved one of the three.
