FAQs

Question

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Absolutely! Kids are more than welcome and there will be kid centered activities and crafts including stations for trick or treating. Kids (12 and under) are also welcome to bring the Halloween costumes or come dressed up so they don’t miss out on the fun of the day.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is cocktail attire. Ladies are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen can wear suits or sport coats with dress pants. We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing jeans, sneakers, baseball hats or camo. Bonus points if you wear fall colors or follow a “Practical Magic”/cottagecore/whimsigoth attire.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes, we will have an assortment of alcoholic beverages in addition to 2 cocktails of the night.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 3 PM. Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony to get settled.

Question

What happens if it rains?

Answer

Rain or shine, the celebration continues! There will be a tent for the reception and we will have heaters, blankets and umbrellas available.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, we have a wedding registry! You can find all the details on the Registry page of our website!

Question

Since the wedding is on Halloween, are we allowed to come in costume?

Answer

We ask that only kids (12 and under) wear their Halloween costumes. Adults please wear your best cocktail attire. (Fall colors -black, green, burgundy, rust, navy, brown, gold- are encouraged).

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please see the travel page on our website for recommendations. Feel free to text Nicole if you would like to double check on areas of AirBNBs or with any questions before booking (especially if you want to stay in CLT…) (AirBNBs are scarce for our area but we have seen a few within 30-40 minutes of the house. If you find one that works for you and would prefer that over one of the hotels, please book it ASAP)

Question

I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?

Answer

For any questions or concerns, please feel free to text Nicole at 862-224-2550

Question

How will parking work for the event?

Answer

While parking is available at the house, we are still trying to figure out the best way to have everyone park to avoid the potential of walking too far, through wet grass, etc. Once we have a plan we will update and likely send texts and put up signs to help direct everyone on where to do.

Question

Is there anything we should know about the venue?

Answer

Our wedding will take place outside at our home/land, surrounded by beautiful open space and nature — which means a few bumps and dips in the ground come with the charm! We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and being mindful of your step while exploring the property. By RSVPing “Yes,” guests acknowledge that their attendance is voluntary and that the hosts are not responsible or liable for any injuries, accidents, or damages that may occur.

Question

Will there be Vegetarian/Vegan Options?

Answer

Yes! We want to make sure that all of our friends and family eat! We are doing our best to make sure we have a great assortment of food so everyone can enjoy the cocktail hour and dinner no matter what allergy, preference or dietary lifestyle.
