How do we plan our trip?

Answer

Please contact Apple Weddings at wbfservice@applelg.net or call 833-272-1008. The deadline for working with the team is January 13, 2021.

Can we customize our trip if we work with Apple?

Answer

YES! The team will help you schedule the perfect trip for you and your family. You can choose your flight, size of your room, and number of days you attend. There are packages for 3, 4, 5, or 7 days. You can take the chartered flight or schedule one on your own!

Is the resort kid friendly?

Answer

Absolutely! There are kid friendly activities throughout the resort including kid pools, family friendly entertainment, and a "kids club." The club is for children 4- 12 years of age. Childcare is free from 9 am to 5 pm. The club is a great option to have kids participate in many of the activities on the resort at a very reduced cost or even for free! Our girls loved the ladies in the club. They were warm, friendly, and very well staffed.

Yes, there are a few items we forgot on our last trip and thought we would make a list for all of you! - bug spray - water shoes - backpack or pool bag - thermos for the pool

What are the food options on the resort?

Answer

There are several food options for daytime and night time eating. 1. Buffets: Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. No reservations needed! 2. Grills: Open for lunch and afternoon snacks (10:30 am - 7 pm). The grills are located off the beach and food is served buffet style. You can wear swimsuits but shoes are required. No reservations needed! 3. Restaurants: There are more restaurants than we could count! You need to make reservations before 3 pm. All restaurants have a shared "kids" menu which includes staples like burgers, speghetti, and chicken fingers :) 4. Bars: Open in the afternoons and have light snacks. Lobby bars have some entertainment nightly including an amazing pianist! Pool bars open at 12. There is no alcohol served before 12.

What activities are included in the "all included" resort?

Answer

There are many free activities provided as part of your resort experience. Here are a few: 1. Pools, water park slides for big and little kids 2. Mini Golf is free before noon 3. Pool side entertainment, life size chess, pool tables, ping pong, water aerobics 4. Sports including volleyball, water basketball, lap swimming 5. Water sports: anything that does not have a motor! Kayaks, canoes, wind surfing 6. Fitness center: Free classes all day, modern and up to date athletic equipment 7. Dance clubs: adults only and teens club 8. Dolphin shoes: The dolphins perform everyday in the morning 9. Nightly entertainment: There are two theatres on the resort which offer nightly, family friendly entertainment. The performers are amazing singers and dancers. They had a circus, variety show, singing and dancing. The costumes were amazing and the shows are very well done.

What if I want to add an extra excursion?

There are also many other activities on the resort property you can access for an additional cost. Here are a few: 1. Shopping: Maya Mall has a few shops and restaurants. Bowling is open all day and night! There are other activities too such as ice skating, haunted house, casino 2. Adventure Park: includes activities such as zip-lining, four wheeling, and ropes courses 3. Pirate Island: separate water park for kids and adults 4. Dolphinaris: You can even swim with the dolphins! 5. Motor sports: Jet skiing, parasailing, water skiing 6. Ocean adventures: snorkeling, scuba diving (must be certified), deep sea fishing. All excursions leave from the resort dock.

Is the drinking water safe?

Answer

YES. All water served at the resort comes is bottled water. There are large gallon jugs they pour into serving pitchers. Fruit and vegetables are also washed in the purified water.

The resort sounds HUGE! How do I get around?

Answer

The resort is very big. There are five main buildings, Maya Beach, Maya Caribe, Maya Colonial, Maya Tropical, and Maya Grand. You will have access to the first four resorts. Each section has two long buildings with a main floor and second floor for guest rooms. The buffets and theatres are shared between Beach-Caribe and Colonial-Tropical. The spa, fitness center, and dolphinaris is located in the middle of the four resorts. The resorts and pools are spread between all resorts. There is a double decker bus which travels between all resorts, all day. Take advantage of this service!

The hotel assures us there are both minor and major changes to make sure everyone has a safe and healthy trip.

Social distancing during the ceremony includes 3 ft between guests and a maximum table capacity of 6 guests to allow more space between tables. Wedding dinners will have a plated meal. During the guest stay, buffets are assisted by a staff that will serve the food. Face masks are recommended during the resort stay.

What is a virtual wedding?

Answer

Our virtual wedding will be an opportunity for those that cannot travel with us to join in the celebration. The virtual event will start at 5 pm. Opening cocktails and opportunities to share a virtual toast will be provided. The ceremony will be live streamed for all to enjoy the sunny beaches in Riviera Maya. Immediately following the ceremony, The Kulhem's will lead in a virtual Wine and Spirits tasting that celebrates Nikki and Jesse's story together. The bride, groom and wedding guest will all stop by to say hello during the reception. Feel free to wear casual or fancy attire! We will have a blast!
