Flight

Fresno Yosemite International Airport

Fresno is the best airport to fly into to get into Yosemite Valley. After arriving you are only 1 hour from the entrance to the park and 2 hours from Yosemite Valley. the west side of the park is never closed due to weather unlike the eastern side of the park which may or may not be opened in time for the wedding.

Flight

Sacramento International Airport

If finding a flight into Mammoth or Fresno is too difficult, Sacramento is the next closest option. The drive to the valley is 2 hours and 45 minutes and you will also not have to worry about weather concerns as you will be entering from the west side of the park that does not close for inclimate weather.

Flight

Mammoth Yosemite Airport

This is the smallest airport with the prettiest drive from the eastern side of the park. The drive is similar to that of Fresno and will take 2-2:30 minutes to get into Yosemite Valley. If you do choose to take this route, make sure to visit the Whoa Nelly Delly (Mobile Station) on the way in and get a piece of chocolate cake and make sure to ask for extra raspberry sauce! (also bring us a piece too!)

Hotel

Half Dome Village

Yosemite Valley, CA 95389

Half Dome Village is personally our favorite spot, it is rustic and full of "girl scout camp" character with a pizza deck, tiny bar, and a cafeteria. This property was established in 1899 as the less expensive option to those who wanted to visit the park, and it remains that way today. They offer tent cabins with canvas walls, and woodd cabins with real walls, the choice is yours!
