Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Avalon does not have its own parking facility. If you are not staying at a nearby hotel, we recommend using the Science Museum, RiverCentre, Kellogg, or Lawson parking ramps for event parking.

Is transportation provided for the wedding day?

Answer

A limited number of shuttles will run from the Holiday Inn to the venue before the ceremony, with return shuttles back to the hotel available until 10 PM. We encourage guests to use Uber or Lyft, or walk if staying at one of the nearby hotels. Both hotel options are within walking distance of the venue.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Please plan to arrive at the venue by 4:20 PM, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal but fun. Think dark suits and ties for the gentlemen, and anything from a floor-length gown to a chic midi dress for the ladies. No jeans please.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’ve planned our guest list carefully, so only invitations that say “+1” may bring someone along. If yours doesn’t, we’re excited to see you at the celebration just as invited!

We kindly ask that attendance be limited to those listed on the invitation. If your children are included, we are excited to celebrate with them!
