We're getting married!

It was Easter break senior year of college & I was back in the cities. My good friend McKay had asked me to go out with her & her brother Mitchell in Uptown. There, Mitchell had invited a few of his college buddies (including Jared). We ended up at a booth at Stella's and were caught up in conversation for hours. He dropped me off back home later on & grabbed my number from McKay. I received a text from an unknown number the next day (aka Jared). We went on our first date after I graduated from St. Ben's at Surly & went back to Stella's for dinner. He asked me to be his girlfriend in June of 2017 at Lake of the Isles.

Jared & his family had invited to me join them on their week long cruise vacation. It was my first time & was stoked to spend the days ahead soaking in the sun with a drink in hand. It was the second night of the cruise & we had made reservations at one of the seafood restaurants on the boat. After we sat down at our table, a photographer came around & took pictures of Jared & I, the family etc. After we finished dinner, dessert had been ordered & was on it's way. The photographer had came back to our table & said he "lost" our photo & suggested snapping another. As photos were being taken a flood of wait staff came out with flowers and a chocolate cake that said "Nicole, will you marry me?". By the time I understood what was happening Jared was down on one knee & asked me to spend forever with him! We're so thrilled to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
