We’re getting married

It all started when we were 15. At a family event, nothing extraordinary, just a typical gathering with family. We exchanged a few words, but nothing that would hint at the love story that was about to unfold. There was a spark, though. It was that kind of unspoken connection, where we couldn’t stop noticing each other. Even when we went our separate ways after that day, there was something that always kept us curious. As time passed, we seemed to find ourselves in the same places again and again – at church, more family events, the same circles, but never really talking. It was like we were always in the same room, yet never quite taking the leap to really engage. But somehow, it always felt like there was something there, something more, even though we didn’t say much. Then, when we turned 16, something changed. We both knew it was time. We decided to take a chance on each other and started dating. From that moment on, everything felt different. It was like we were always meant to be together. We had that deep, undeniable connection – the kind of relationship where you know, no matter the challenges, that you’re meant for each other. And believe me, we’ve had our share of challenges. We’ve been through struggles, fought our battles, and navigated some pretty rocky waters. But no matter how many mistakes we made, or how many obstacles life threw our way, we always knew one thing for certain: we were each other's person. Our love didn’t waver; if anything, it grew stronger with each trial. Nine years later, we stand here, stronger than ever, with a lifetime of memories and a future full of hope. Now we are officially getting married, and we couldn’t be more excited to step into this next chapter as adults. We’ve always been best friends, and now we get to embark on this new adventure as partners for life. Under God, we know that good things are coming our way, and we’re ready for whatever the future holds. Our story is just beginning, and we’re so thankful we get to share it together.
