We're finally getting married!

For those of you that don't know Hayden and I meet through mutual friends while we were headed out for a late night of drinking in the bar. My best friend Trey and Hayden's best friend Nic and I all grew up in Penticton and were back many years later on a hot summer vacation. Hayden was partying with Nic and Trey was dragging me to the bar for my 20th birthday. We all ran into each other on the way into the bar. One thing led to another and Hayden and I spent the entire night talking, dancing and drinking the night away. We have talked every day since then. Now we have a beautiful family together that we get to celebrate with all of you!

Hayden and I were on vacation in Nelson BC visiting Hayden's great uncle Ed when hayden told me he had a big day planned out for us. He would not tell me where we were going, or what I should wear, just to be comfortable. He then proceeded to take me on an extremely difficult 2 hour hike with the dogs up Elephant Hill trail. May I add I was in a dress and sandals but hayden didn't care, he was on a mission to get to the top. I don't think I stoped complaining the entire time.. but I truly tried not to because I had my suspicions given how weird Hayden was acting. Once we got to the top, caught our breath, took some pictures and had some very long moments of awkward silence (Which I now know was Hayden trying to find his words) Hayden looked and me, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. Hope to see you all soon!
