This is maybe the best "southern" brunch in Atlanta. From the grits to the biscuits, it's all good.
A local favorite. Plus, this is right on the edge of Piedmont Park!
Best bar food in the city. Try the nachos, wings, chicken tenders, or burger!
Hank took Nicole to the botanical gardens for her first birthday in Atlanta... BEFORE she had moved down!
Ponce City Market is food hall / outdoor shopping mall that is a great spot to walk around. Our favorite food spots inside include: 1. Minero - delicious and spicy chicken wings 2. Farm to Ladle - quick stop for healthy lunches. Nicole likes the Salmon & Slaw. 3. Hops Chicken - Chicken biscuits - famous in Atlanta! 4. Honeysuckle - Ice cream!
The Beltline is a paved walking trail with bars, restaraunts, and shops along the way. Pick it up at the edge of Piedmont park, at the corner of 10th and Monroe! We like to run to the park (along the edge) and onto the Beltline to Ponce City Market for a 4 mile out-and-back.
This is our favorite coffee spot in the city. It's a great place to grab a cup of joe, a piece of banana bread, and get some work done.
This is the BEST PIZZA IN ATLANTA! Maybe in the world. You can technically walk, as this is only a mile or so from the hotel, but it is not as scenic of a route as the other suggestions.
Piedmont Park is maybe our favorite place in this city. It is a beautiful park to walk, run, scooter, or bike. Check out the farmers market Saturday morning from 9:00 - 1:00, find the gravel track for a speed workout, or grab a King of Pops popsicle!
Hank took Nicole to the Georgia Aquarium for their first date in Atlanta. The Georgia Aquarium is the largest aquarium in the entire Western Hemisphere and boasts tens of thousands of marine animals - including 3 whale sharks!
