Offering both the charms of a European village and the thrills of a mountain sports destination, this historic town nestled in Lehigh Gorge in Carbon County is one of the great gems of the Poconos and one of our favorite towns to visit.
Frenchtown
One of our favorite places for a day trip is Frenchtown, NJ. The drive from the hotel is about 45 minutes. Get a coffee at Early Bird Espresso & Mercantile or grab a bite to eat Chez Daniel.
Doylestown
A very charming town that offers great restaurants, shops, coffee spots, and is perfect for walking. Our favorite spots: Empanada Mama, Nina's Waffles, Native Cafe, In Full Swing, Domani Start, Sarah Cornwell Jewelry, and Wheat and Vine.
Nockamixon State Park
This is Olly's favorite walking spot! If you're looking to be one with nature, we highly recommend visiting Lake Nockamixon. It's less than a 20 minute drive from Quakertown and offers beautiful views of the Lake and great walking/hiking trails.

The best ice cream around made with fresh local ingredients! Gunnar's favorite: Honey Lavender Nicole's favorite: Sweet Honey Cream
Farm To Toast
Our favorite brunch spot in town! They specialize in open faced toasts with homemade ingredients. We recommend the curried chicken, cheese and egg salad toasts. Plus, they have amazing coffee! Fun fact, Nicole worked here for a bit.

Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company is an award-winning craft brewery with multiple taprooms. Our go-to is the Dublin one. Have a beer and relax!
