Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Nicole Manuel and Graham Strother
We are so excited for you to see the city that Nicole grew up in, and experience a little of the Wild West!
Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

2021 North Kinney Road, Tucson, AZ 85743

This is an all day event, but is a must do, especially if you have never been to the West before! There is so much to do, see, and even learn! We recommend for everyone to go, regardless of age. You will have a great time! Just don't forget your sunscreen!

Pima Air & Space Museum

Pima Air & Space Museum

6000 East Valencia Road, Tucson, AZ 85756

We recommend a half day or more here. It's worth going even if you have been to other museums like in DC. There are lots of unique finds to discover! If you want to tour the military plane bone yard next door, you need to sign up a few months in advance.

Trail Dust Town

Trail Dust Town

6541 East Tanque Verde Road, Tucson, AZ 85715

At this amusement park (no entry fee); you can pan for gold, see a stunt show, have a great Cowboy / Cowgirl dinner, go on some great rides, and explore the town via the train ride! A great taste of the Old Wild West in the heart of the city!

Sabino Canyon

5900 N Sabino Canyon Rd, Catalina Foothills, AZ 85750

This is a great place to hike or ride the tram as you see the desert beauty!

Saguaro National Park West & East

AZ

There is both an East and a West park. Nicole grew up near the East one and would visit it often, especially on school field trips. Visit either one for a beautiful walk through the desert!

Reid Park Zoo

Reid Park Zoo

Tucson, AZ

A smaller zoo with very diverse animals. Great activities for kids and always a fun time! Especially with the elephants exhibit! It is also next to a beautiful park with a train ride for the kids and a duck pond.

Gaslight Theatre

Gaslight Theatre

7010 East Broadway Boulevard, Tucson, AZ 85710

A Tucson staple and is a must do every time we visit! They offer the most hilarious satire plays, and it's always just a great time! If you can catch a show while you're in town, we recommend it! You will need to buy tickets a few months in advance.

Old Tucson

201 Kinney Rd, Tucson, AZ 85735

A recently re-opened Old West theme park with several attractions, rides, and food options. You may recognize some portions of the park from some old western films that featured John Wayne.

International Wildlife Museum

4800 West Gates Pass, Boulevard,, Tucson, AZ 85745

This is a great time for kids!

Colossal Cave

16721 E. Old Spanish Trail, Vail, AZ 85641

Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch

17599 East Peak Lane, Picacho, AZ 85141

This is great fun for all, but especially the kids! Lots of animals to feed and pet. It is a little bit of a drive out of town.

Titan Missile Museum

1580 West Duval Mine Road, Green Valley, AZ 85614

Sedona

Sedona, AZ 86336

This is a (long) day trip, or an overnight getaway - but if you have the time, the views are breath taking! We also recommend while you are there that you stop at the Sedona airport for a bite to eat and a drink. https://mesagrillsedona.com/
