It was June 8th, 2020, as always I had nothing planned for my birthday but I took off for my birthday to hang out with Katie and Theresa. Every year Katie asks me what I want to do for my birthday and I never know and that year was no different, she decided that the three of us would hang out, sip, and play yahtzee... maybe invite a couple of guys over to break up the routine of things. Things were going pretty well, when Curtis showed up. the music was flowing and we were all enjoying ourselves. Of course I was kicked off music duty when my choice of music began to be more on the lines of knuck if you buck rather than the even keel non-confrontational hip-hop and Curtis took over. Those who know me know that I have a tendecy to be completely oblivous when someone is flirting with me either directly or indirectly. Curtis, being the music talker he is was dropping hints that he was interested and I had no idea. When it was time for everyone to go home I thought maybe he was interested in me, as I walked out the door to my car I thought maybe he would take that apportunity to ask for my number...Nope. We said goodbye and parted ways, seemingly never to speak again. It wasn't until a few days later when Katie told me that he was indeed interested in me and that I walked too fast out the door he'd misread my signals. Neither of us actually knowing the other and intially unable to find each other on facebook we both ended up contacting Katie to try to contact each other. Finally having the right information and the right facebook I sent him a message one facebook. From there our relationship took on an entire life of its own.
