We met in the middle of the 2020 pandemic, when the world felt uncertain and still. Somehow, in that moment, we found each other, and everything started to feel a little more certain. Nicole was 17, Evan was 18. What started as long conversations in a parking lot turned into something neither of us expected, but both of us needed. From the very beginning, it just felt right. Our first real date was barefoot on the beach, watching the sunset. It was simple, but it felt like magic, and in so many ways, it still does. Over the years, we’ve grown up together. We’ve shared adventures, laughter, challenges, and quiet moments that mean the most. Through it all, we’ve been best friends, always knowing, deep down, that this was something forever.
