Sometimes the best love stories start in the most unexpected places; like at Wendy’s. Nicole and Ernesto first met in 2016 while working at Wendy’s. One ordinary shift turned into something unforgettable when Ernesto slipped his phone number under Nicole’s phone. From that moment on, they never stopped talking. What began as easy conversations quickly grew into something deeper, and on June 22, 2016, they officially started dating. In the summer of 2017, they began college together and spent the next two years side by side, growing both as individuals and as a couple. After those two years, they branched off to pursue different colleges and career paths, while continuing to support one another every step of the way. Ernesto stood by Nicole as she worked toward earning her teaching degree, and Nicole proudly supported Ernie through his HVAC journey. Now, nearly 10 years later, they are both pursuing their dreams, building a life together, and growing stronger through every season.
