A frequent stop for both of us before we even knew each other, and then a regular staple for us as a couple! Phenomenal breakfast sandwiches as well as wraps, deli items, and prepared food, could be great for lunch, especially if you take it across the street to eat at the Rodger's Lake boat launch!
Book Barn
A staple through both of our lives in CT, as well as one we shared together. A lovely, hidden gem to wander, and a seemingly never-ending collection of great used books. From history and science to beach reads and classics, the Book Barn never fails to provide (even if you promised yourself that you're not going to buy a book this time....)

Super cute gift shop with local goods, CT and shoreline-themed items, and fun gifts! Worth a browse if you end up there.

Our first date! About a 15 minute drive away.
Niantic
Another cute shoreline town! Nice Main Street and boardwalk, and a lovely place for CT summer on the shoreline vibes!
