It was Friday evening, we were looking forward to the weekend, but I could tell Eric was nervous. I could not entertain it yet because that day I flooded the apartment by overloading the washing machine and we had handy men all day fixing our light and making a mess of the apartment! We decided to go out to dinner to get out of the apartment. As we were walking along the boardwalk to get to the restaurant, Eric stopped me there to get down on one knee. I obviously screamed yes, and a bunch of random people on the boardwalk ran over to celebrate and see the ring! Two days later, we brought our puppy Paulie home! Best weekend ever!
