Dylan and Nicole were both part of an internship at Washington State University's Police department while in college. Although, Dylan was too nervous to speak to her within the internship, the perfect opportunity came at a party. Several weeks later, enough liquid courage and Nicole initiating the conversation Dylan finally asked for her number. The dates came swiftly and they have been inseperable ever since.

Once upon a time in Greece... Dylan had organized a couples photoshoot in a small village called Pyrgos on the island of Santorini. They spent hours walking the cobblestone streets and dancing on rooftops, literally. After the photoshoot and a secret meeting between Dylan and the photographer they went to dinner, a romantic cliffside at sunset. While Nicole washed up, Dylan snuck out to a singular table sitting over the ocean. The photographer from earlier, hiding along the cliff. Nicole made her way along the cliff and down the steps to their table only to find Dylan down on one knee. Instantly, Nicole's hands rose to her face only to hide her shocked expression. She was in disbelief. Everything had gone to plan and she embraced him. She said "YES!" and the two gazed at the sunset as it set over the cliffs of Santorini.
