As millennials in a big city, our love story started on the dating app Bumble (the feminist, female forward one at least!). The first time we matched, Nicole sent a generic introductory message. However, Dylan ignored the message and the match expired (according to Dylan he was very busy.) The second time we matched, Nicole scoured Dylan's profile to find a way to catch his attention - then she saw the oreos. As soon as she asked him about oreos he instantly responded. He then asked Nicole what a trash cat was. Soon after, we went on our first date to Silo in DC. After that first date, we quickly became inseparable. Though an entire pandemic, we continued dating. We even adopted a puppy (Harley) together. On a trip to Charleston, SC in June, Dylan proposed. Dylan never imagined ending up with a cat, dog and fiancée in DC. And Nicole never imagined so many trips to Mississippi!
