What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving by 15:30 to get seated and settled before the ceremony starts at 16:00.

Where is the wedding taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held at the Struisbaai Bowling Club. Everything’s in one place, no need to travel between venues!

What should I wear?

Answer

Attire is semi-formal with a summery twist. Dress to impress, but also feel free to stay cool and comfy and bring a light jacket for the evening breeze.

Are you registered anywhere?

Answer

We aren’t doing a traditional gift registry. If you'd like to give a gift, we kindly welcome contributions in the form of money. A barcode and cash deposit box will be available at the wedding.

Can I bring my kids?

Please check your invitation, if your little ones were included, they are more than welcome! Otherwise, we’re keeping it an adult celebration.

Is there parking available?

Answer

Yes! There’s plenty of parking available at the venue. Just follow the signs when you arrive.

Where should I stay?

Answer

Struisbaai and nearby L’Agulhas have lots of lovely guesthouses and Airbnbs. We recommend booking early; December is a popular time! Please visit the Accommodation page to help find some accommodation options.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, feel free to take photos! We just kindly ask that all devices be set to silent mode so the ceremony can be enjoyed without interruptions. After the big day, we’d love to see the moments you captured, we’ll provide a barcode at the wedding for you to easily upload any photos you'd like to share with us.

Is there an after-party?

Answer

We’ll be partying into the night at the reception; no official after-party is planned, but we won’t stop you from keeping the vibes going! The venue will only be available until 00:00.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Please check your invitation or RSVP. If a guest is listed, they’re invited! We’ve worked hard to keep things intimate, so we appreciate your understanding.

December in Struisbaai is usually sunny with a coastal breeze. Perfect for an outdoor celebration! We recommend bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, and maybe a light layer for later.
