A good old fashion online dating match up! After many many months of repetitive failed online dating stories, I didn't think Dustin would be any different. We matched on Bumble in November but our first date wasn't until March. After months of Dustin trying to break down my walls and asking to take me on a first date, I finally gave in! On our first date, I sat across the table looking at his face, and thought, I could live with that nose the rest of my life! :) The rest is history. I think we both knew we had found "our person" after the first date!

On a Saturday, we drove to his house in Statesboro, which is on 40 acres of land. Our plan was to watch the Georgia Bulldogs game and to say our final goodbyes to the house, as we had just put it on the market. During the third quarter of the Georgia game, he suggested we take our dog Maya for a walk, along a 10 acre track along the peach trees. This walk is one we had done many times before and specifically on our third date. I thought it was a little strange that he wanted to go for a walk before the game was over (what I didn't realize --- the sun was setting!) After a nice sunset stroll in the pasture and expressing his love for me, he got down on one knee :)

We’ve since bought a house on 5 acres of land in Richmind Hill, GA (you all will see at the wedding) and are loving house project after house project! We can’t wait to get a new puppy and raise a family here, in the years to come!
