Closest area for hiking to downtown Boulder! There is also a dining hall for a lunch outing and It does get very busy on weekends and it costs to park but it's worth the trip.
Plenty of great shops to explore that includes everything from kids toys to the lastest tech in mountain gear. Enjoy the local street performers and be sure to pick up some CU gear to fit in with the rest of Boulder

Nicole's favorite tea house in Colorado. Enjoy an afternoon tea with tradional snacks.
Start the campus tour at Folsom Field, home of Coach Prime, Deion Sanders. Visit the Engineering building where Davis spent many hours trying to learn how to fly. Stop by Farrand Field as you make your way over to the UMC and CU book store for all the Buffs gear. Finally stop by the Norlin Library and the Norlin Quad to hang out with the local hackysackers and slackliners.
Enjoy the best farmers market in Boulder. It's open on Saturdays
Best view of the city without needing much a hike
Enjoy a quirky small town just up Boulder Canyon. Nederland is home to the infamous story of the man who froze himself in a Tuff shed. Homages to him can be seen around the cute downtown. We highly recommend the Train Cars Coffee or the Crosscut for pizza and beers.
