Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Evergreen Lake House is a recreation area, so there is parking, but we have been asked to limit the amount of people that will park there. Please utilize the available shuttles if you can!

How far is the wedding venue from the wedding hotel?

Answer

Evergreen Lake House is about a 30 minute drive from the selected wedding hotel. We chose a more-centralized hotel location to give you all better access to Denver-things if you choose to explore.

Shuttles

Answer

There will be a shuttle from the wedding hotel (Denver Marriott West) for both hotel guests and local people. (see Travel tab) **we encourage locals to take an Uber/Lyft to the Denver Marriott West hotel and then ride the shuttle to & from the venue. It is much easier to get an Uber/Lyft to the Denver West area compared to Evergreen. The Hotel is also okay with our local folks parking in their parking lot and riding the shuttle even if you’re not staying at the hotel. We want everyone to have a fun/safe evening!

Are there Ubers & Lyfts in Evergreen, CO?

Answer

Some, but not many. (when I searched on Lyft, there was 1 driver in all of Evergreen). I would not rely on this for transportation.

Answer

Denver sits at 5,280 ft above sea level Evergreen Lake House sits at 7,220 ft above sea level

Is altitude sickness real?

Answer

YES! If you are coming from sea-level you can be affected by the altitude. There is less oxygen at high altitudes, so your body has to work harder to get the proper amount of oxygen into your blood stream. You may feel out-of-breath more than normal and everyone needs to drink extra water. Symptoms of altitude sickness include: Short-of-breath Headache Dizziness Nausea Fatigue If you feel symptoms of altitude sickness, please take things slow and DRINK EXTRA WATER!!!
