This is my first time in Portugal - what do I need to know?

What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

You can fly into either Porto or Lisbon! Please send a text to the bride or groom with your flight info once booked. Porto (OPO) is about a 30 min drive to our venue in Braga. Lisbon (LIS) is typically cheaper and has more frequent direct flights from the US. You can take either a short flight, private car, bus, or train to Porto from Lisbon (~3 hours by coach bus or train, our preferred method)

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Our wedding is formal/black tie optional which means ladies should be wearing floor length or midi dresses and men should be in suits or tuxes if you’re feeling fancy. Check out the "Gallery/Attire" tab for some inspiration - or text the bride/groom if you need some clarification!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We sure do! We have discount codes available with the 4 hotels listed in the "Hotels" page.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be provided transportation from all hotels to and from the venue so you can worry less about driving and more about having fun! Our wonderful wedding coordinator team will reach out with further details closer to the wedding date.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you. We will provide transportation home from the venue to ensure all our loved ones make it home safe.
