Take the plunge with us

Hi everyone. Google has apparently decided to not take you to the right location again. iMaps does work though. You can follow the direction on the FAQ page. The deiveway will be marked with balloons.

With all the recent updates, we did some research and have decided we can safely follow the current guidelines to have our wedding as originally planned. We will be sending out invitations shortly, so be on the lookout! Tables will be spaced 6 feet apart and we will be asking guests to wear masks whenever socializing with guests outside of their household. The yard is plenty big so lets use the space! Please DO NOT attend if you are feeling sick or have recently been around someone who has tested positive. If you’re no longer able to attend, or are not comfortable attending under these circumstances, we completely understand. Everyone's health is important and we will make time to celebrate with you once you are comfortable to do so. Once invitations are sent out, you can RSVP anytime under the RSVP tab.

First, we need to go all the way back to somewhere around 2003/2004 in middle school gym class. So romantic I know. Nicole was in 7th grade and Curtis was in 8th. We sat in alphabetical order, so Curtis sat a person or two in front of Nicole. Lets just say Nicole had herself a crush on a boy who literally remembers none of this. Fast forward to 2005/2006, Nicole is a freshman and Curtis is a sophomore. Nicole is surprised to find that the boy she had a crush on a yearish ago is now in her friend group. Now neither person can fully remember when they started to actually become friends. But over the next 4 years, thanks to multiple mutual friends, 4th of July parties, and summer adventures a friendship formed.

Nicole has just graduated from Western and Curtis is living at our friend Aaron's house. Curtis and Aaron decided to throw a party at the house, after a soccer tournament. He decided to invite Nicole and reached out to her. She of course said yes, seeing everyone would be fun. Getting the old crew back together so to speak. The party was great, good times were had. It is always fun reconnecting with old friends. They had so much fun, the following week Nicole went to her first Sounders game with Curtis and Aaron. An activity we still love doing to this day. The following day was The 4th of July and since we were in the spirit of reconnecting with old friends, Nicole went to the Grimms with everyone just like they used to. It was this 4th of July that sparks started to fly.

Christmas mornings are spent just the two of us, three if you count Huey, opening our presents from each other. All three of us had opened all our presents and were just about to get ready to leave to go to Curits’ parents house for the day, when Curtis left the room. He came back in with a mischievous look on his face. Honestly, Nicole did not think this was going to happen because she assumed he would have acted weird the previous night and this morning. Curtis stood in front of Nicole and presented her with an envelope of cash. He told her she can take this plus some extra from the bank and go buy whatever ring she wanted for that price. Then he asked the most important question, “Will you marry me?”. Nicole was shocked and of course said yes!
