We actually first crossed paths in early May 2017 on Bumble (a dating app). But unfortunately, we didn't end up meeting until we found each other again on Bumble (what are the chances?!?!) on July 26th, 2017. We had our first date at Bougey's Bar & Grill in New Berlin, WI two days later on July 28th, 2017.

Colin joined me in Portland, Oregon while I was there for work. When I finished work on Friday, we were just walking around the city and decided to stop at Powell's Books - City of Books (one of the largest bookstores in the states). While we were there, we found our way into a little corner with nobody around and I asked Colin if there was anything he was interested in. He said yes, and as I turned around, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Obviously, I said YES!
