Chrystan and Nicole first crossed paths on the very first day of senior high school at the University of Santo Tomas. In a crowded elevator ride to the 8th floor, Chrystan stood just in front of Nicole—neither knowing they were headed to the same classroom. Though they were classmates, it took some time before they truly spoke. A month later, a friend invited them to watch Kingsman: The Secret Service at Fisher Mall. To this day, neither Chrystan nor Nicole remembers much about the movie. What they do remember is how easy everything felt—the comfort of being completely themselves, and the undeniable connection they shared during a 2-hour-and-9-minute conversation (yes, they talked through the entire film). From that moment on, they’ve been inseparable.

Eight years later, Chrystan and Nicole’s love has only grown deeper, with marriage always in their hearts. In God’s perfect timing, their parents gave their wholehearted blessing. Wanting to go back to where it all began, they wandered around UST, reminiscing about their student days, favorite memories, and everything in between. Then, just when Nicole thought it was “just another walk,” Chrystan got down on one knee and asked the most important question of his life: “Will you marry me?” With tears in her eyes and love in her heart, Nicole said the easiest “Yes!” of her life.
