Carlie Swafford

Maid of Honor

Nicole and I met in kindergarten, and from that very first day, our friendship has been effortless. She quickly became the sister I never had and has been a constant in every chapter of my life. From childhood sleepovers and family vacations to cross-country moves and grown-up milestones, we’ve truly shared it all. Her home was always my second home—filled with love, laughter, and so many memories that shaped who we are today. Even though life eventually took us to different cities, our bond only grew stronger. Whether it’s a daily check-in text or a spontaneous trip to visit Nicole and Chris in New York, nothing has ever changed between us. I’ve had the joy of knowing Chris for nearly as long as I’ve known Nicole, and he’s been part of our world through so many big (and small) moments. Seeing how deeply he loves her, and how perfectly they balance and support each other, has been incredibly special to witness. It means the world to me to stand by my best friend’s side as her maid of honor. Watching Nicole marry the love of her life is something I’ll cherish forever. Cheers to the future Fouseks and the beautiful journey ahead!

Alika Williams

Best Man

I always knew the name Fousek in the little league world as the savage 12 year old pitcher that would scream on the mound after punching someone’s ticket. From that moment, I knew this kid would be my best friend. From dawn patrol sessions at Del Mar beach to competing against each other in high school baseball, I knew I had found a brother in Chris. I met Nicole our sophomore year of high school where I quickly learned how important Nicole would be in Chris’ life. She would also humble me with subtle roasts quite often, which I think I needed in a friend. It has been a privilege and a blessing to have the friendship of these two over the last 12 years and I can’t wait to celebrate them in Cabo!

Bridesmaid

Nicole and I have been two peas in a pod ever since we met in our 1st grade class back in 2005! We became instant besties and have been inseparable ever since, sticking by each other through every season of life. From calling each other’s house phones to plan playdates, to family vacations, to visiting her (and Chris!) in New York, we’ve shared countless laughs and unforgettable memories. I’ve been lucky enough to witness Nicole and Chris’s relationship from day one at her Sweet Sixteen when Chris asked her to be his girlfriend. Watching their love grow over the years has been nothing short of beautiful. Fun fact: Nicole’s phone number is the only one, besides my family’s, that I have memorized!

Riley Burke

Groomsman

Chris and I met in high school through baseball and have remained close ever since. Most of my favorite memories come from the chances we’ve gotten to travel together. From roaming the streets of Europe as clueless 19 year olds with no money, to doing a 10 mile hike in the Sierras with a water filter that we determined to be broken after mile 1, we’ve always managed to figure it out and have a great time while doing it. Looking forward to celebrating Chris and Nicole with everyone this November.

From the moment Nicole was born, I’ve loved spending time with my little cousin. Watching her grow—from singing along to The Wiggles as a kid to building an amazing life in New York—has been such a joy. I couldn’t be more proud of the woman she’s become. Over the years, we’ve shared countless memories, from holiday traditions and family trips to Mission Beach to unforgettable adventures across Europe. My husband Ryan and I even started our honeymoon with a dinner in New York—with Nicole, of course. Having her stand by my side on my wedding day meant the world to me, and now I’m incredibly honored to do the same for her. I feel so lucky to have a cousin who’s also a lifelong best friend, and I couldn’t be happier that she found such a wonderful partner in Chris. Ryan and I are so excited to make even more memories together with Nicole and Chris. Cheers to the Fouseks!

Chris and I met in New York City working out at our gym. As customary in male friendship, we exchanged head nods at each other in silent approval for months before deciding to be friends. Since then, we have bonded over our many mutual passions: fitness, golf, and undoubtedly the pinnacle of our athletic careers - dominating the East River co-ed softball league. Lesser known to the world, Chris and I bond over sending droves of instagram reels and having pointless phone calls at odd hours. It has been great getting to meet Chris’ friends from home on a variety of memorable trips and of course Nicole, who refines Chris in many ways but certainly his fashion sense. Living in the city can be tough, but I couldn’t be more fortunate to have Chris by my side and the many friendships that have come from it. Can’t wait to celebrate Chris and Nicole in Cabo!

Maddy Blauer

Bridesmaid

Hi i’m Maddy! I met Nicole back in 2019 while I was in school studying to become a cosmetologist where Carlie (Nicole’s maid of honor) was my classmate! It was Carlie who introduced us and the three of us clicked instantly and became best buds, like we had known each other forever! Since then, we’ve made some unforgettable memories together! From late night talks, weekend adventures, visiting Nicole and Chris up in Redlands and countless trips out to New York, our friendship just keeps growing stronger. I truly can’t imagine life without Nicole in it, she’s the first person i go to for advice about anything and is the best friend i could ever ask for, I feel so lucky our paths crossed 6 years ago! I’m so excited for the future Fouseks and I feel so grateful to be standing by Nicole’s side for such a special day!

Chris and I go way back—we first met on the little league baseball field, playing as both teammates and rivals. Even then, he was super competitive and always gave it everything he had. That drive has always been a part of who he is, and honestly, finding Nicole is probably his biggest win yet. Ever since high school, we’ve looked forward to hanging out whenever we’re both back in San Diego—whether it’s beach camping, watching his dad’s band play, or heading up to the cabin for a weekend off the grid. It’s always a good time, and it’s even better when Nicole’s around. Chris stood by my side at my wedding (which—fun fact—we now share an anniversary for life), and I’m stoked to return the favor. I’ve known these two for nearly a decade, and I couldn’t be happier to be part of their big day. Love you both!

Alyssa Fousek

Bridesmaid

I met Nicole shortly after her sixteenth birthday. And while in just a few short months she’ll officially become my sister-in-law, it’s hard to believe we haven’t been sisters all along. When we first met, I was just nine years old. She’s watched me grow up—and without even knowing it, I watched her grow up too. From family vacations to way too many baseball games, the bond we have built over the years is something I’ll cherish forever. I proudly claim the title of Chris and Nicole’s biggest cheerleader. Even back in middle school, I couldn’t help but brag to my friends that my amazing older brother had already found the person he was going to marry. Pretty much every friend—and probably even a few random classmates—knows about their love story. I don’t know if it’s because I talk too much or because I’ve always just been so genuinely happy for the both of them… probably a little bit of both. Watching their relationship grow has been such a gift. And now, getting to officially call Nicole my sister feels like the easiest and most natural next step. Because truthfully, we’ve already shared ten years of laughter, chaos, and unforgettable memories together.

Groomsman

I’ve know Chris for as long as I can remember. I think I was in fifth grade when they met. Over the years and throughout my childhood, he has become the brother I never had. The most impressive thing about Chris is his ability to put up with my sister for as long as he has. It has been such a pleasure to watch them grow individually and as a couple, and I’m so excited to see where their marriage takes them (and me when Nicole inevitably drags my parents and I along).

Jaylin Cobb

Bridesmaid

Nicole and I met during her junior year of high school when I became her high school cheer coach. Almost instantly she felt more like a little sister to me than just one of my athletes. And that hasn’t changed. We have shared so many memories together, including vacations and Disney trips, tons that are some of my favorite memories ever. Nicole is the godmother to my kids, and shares a very close relationship with them as well. Throughout the years, and even now living in different states, we have remained close and talk daily. I have known Nicole and Chris since their early relationship days and have had the pleasure of having a front row seat to watching their relationship grow and blossom in the best ways. I can’t wait to celebrate the soon to be Fouseks! Love y’all tons and tons!

Parker Sand

Groomsman

I met Chris our freshman year at the University of Redlands through the baseball team. We became fast friends through morning weights, long bus rides, and Chris’ purchase of a bearded dragon that I visited in his room often. When we became roommates, our shared room looked more like a laundry mat than a dorm, but we made the most of our time on campus. I met Nicole freshman year at Redlands as well, and am not sure how Chris’ friend group, myself included, was a selling point to convince her to come to Redlands, but I’m so happy she joined us. It’s been awesome to have had Chris and Nicole in my life for the past 8 years!
