Russell Memorial Park and Campground is where we try to spend our spare time in the summer. Camping and being the lake with family and friends is the best!
Listeman Arboretum has 47 acres along the east bank of the Black River, with entrances on U.S. Highway 10 and W. Second Street by the old hospital. There are crisscrossed marked trails and access to the Black River for fishing.
The Highground, located four miles west of Neillsville. Currently it is a 155-acre Park that includes a museum, a gift shop, pavilions, picnic areas and four miles of hiking trails. The Park is free to the public and open 24/7/365. Today, The Highground is the largest manned Veterans Park in the nation. This is another great place to stop and view the fall colors.
The Neillsville Farmers Market is located in the C.C.Sniteman Town Square Park at the corner of Hewett and Fifth Streets. The market is open on Saturdays, 8 a.m. until Noon.
