FAQs

Hello all! We are so excited for you to attend our wedding. We will be updating the website as we get the rest of the details ironed out. In the meantime, here is some information regarding FAQs. If you have any questions other than what we have listed here, please reach out to us! Thanks in advance, we are so excited to see everyone on our special day :)
Question

Where do we park?

Answer

At LCBC you can park anywhere in the parking lot! Come in through the main entrance for the ceremony. At the Legion you can park behind the Legion in their parking lot (which may fill up quickly), in the Alexander Hamilton Memorial Library parking lot (as long as it is after hours when they are closed), and the Presbyterian Church beside the Legion as well. Street parking all around the Legion will also be available. NOTE: PER THE LEGION - PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE POLICE PARKING LOT BESIDE THE LEGION!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

*****We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride (NO WHITES, IVORIES, OR CREAMS)!***** We'd also love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. We ask that guests wear semi-formal/formal attire. ***No jeans please!*** For example: Gentlemen: khakis/dress pants with a collared shirt, dress shirt, or suit and tie Ladies: dress, jumpsuit, or a blouse with dress pants, a skirt, or slacks

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are unable to accomodate plus ones unless it is specifically indicated on your wedding invitation. The number of invites that are reserved for you/your family will be listed on the backside of your invitation. Thank you for understanding and please feel free to reach out to us with any questions!

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the name(s) of the children who are invited. Thanks for understanding!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by September 1st, 2024 so we can give the appropriate head counts to our vendors. If you are unable to RSVP by that time we will assume that you are unable to attend. Thanks in advance!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins we will ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us! **We are also going to have QR codes on each of the tables with an app on your phone that lets guests take pictures on the app and sends them to a gallery for us to see. We love the idea of being able to see your POV(s) throughout the evening!

Question

How does seating work?

Answer

The ceremony will be mainly open seating, so sit wherever you please; however the first few isles/rows will be reserved for family. There will be cards that say "Reserved" on those seats. For the reception, we will be carefully (and to our best ability) arranging tables so our guests are sat with people they know (ex. their plus one/partner). There will be an area within the reception area that will list your name and which table you will be at during the reception :)

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 2:00pm. Please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony to allow time for parking and finding your seat.

Question

Will the ceremony & reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors.

Question

What do I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP to either Carson or I as "not attending" so we can plan accordingly. Thanks!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

There is a bar at the reception venue. The bar will be CASH ONLY.
