We're calling it dressy casual. Be relaxed, but please no jeans.

Yes, just let us know and we will make sure there are activities for the children.

Will there be a ceremony?

Answer

We eloped July 2020 in Crested Butte, but we’re having a reception to celebrate our nuptials for our one year anniversary!

Will there be any transportation services to and from the reception?

Yes, we are providing free rides through Lyft up to a certain amount. Code: BBRECEPTION731 If you are staying at the Hilton, the reception will be in walking distance.

What is the weather like in Colorado in July?

Answer

Weather can be unpredictable in Colorado Springs. Expect warm days, cooler evenings, and possible thunderstorms.

Will I be required to wear a mask at the reception?

Answer

We're intending to hold an event that is both safe and fun. We encourage everyone to get vaccinated and hope that the pandemic has waned significantly by late July. When the event gets closer we will make a judgement call on masking, distancing, etc. based on current regulations at the venue and public health guidance.

What is altitude sickness and could I experience that?

Answer

For those of you who live closer to sea level, reminder that Colorado Springs' elevation is 6,035 ft. That means less oxygen than normal. Some people have experienced altitude sickness upon arrival. We recommend drinking enough water to keep hydrated. Especially if you are going to visit places like the top of Pikes Peak (14,115 ft elevation).
