Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Nicole Gildersleeve and Brian Tirrell
Flagstaff is a rugged yet quaint mountain town nestled in the pine forests of the San Fransisco Peaks, and is the perfect gateway to explore all the natural wonder of Northern Arizona and beyond. The stunning red rocks of Sedona are only a 50 minute drive south, while heading north an hour and a half will bring you to the precipice of the south rim of the Grand Canyon. If you prefer to stay in town, historic Route 66 is the main artery by which you will find shops, dining, historic hotels and live entertainment. We hope you enjoy our home away from home as much as we do!!!

Pizzicletta

203 West Phoenix Avenue, Flagstaff, AZ 86001

Our favorite wood-fired pizza joint in town! They will be catering our reception with a selection of pies and hors d'oeuvres, but if you couldn't get enough you can stop by their downtown location, or order up inside of our favorite brewery!

Dark Sky Brewing Co.

117 North Beaver Street, Flagstaff, AZ 86001

The first brewery we visited as a couple, and our favorite brews in Flag! While the original tap room has plenty of space for the pizza and beers, they also have opened up a beautiful outdoor patio and a separate taproom along with Atmosphere Kitchen, which serves off kilter seasonal small plates.

MartAnnes Burrito Palace

112 East Route 66, Flagstaff, AZ 86001

The House That Chilaquiles Built! Our absolute favorite Mexican spot on the planet Earth and a required breakfast every time we visit Flagstaff. The Christmas style (red and green sauce) Chilaquiles are our go to, but this place is top notch, all plates and all meals of the day.

Rendezvous

100 North San Francisco Street, Flagstaff, AZ 86001

Located inside the historic Hotel Monte Vista, this is our favorite cocktail bar in town!

Inner Basin Trail

Inner Basin Trail, AZ 86001

This was our first hike in Flagstaff, amongst the yellow Aspen leaves of Autumn, and a few years later where Brian proposed to Nicole!!

Lowell Observatory

1400 West Mars Hill Road, Flagstaff, AZ 86001

One of the oldest observatories in the United States, a great place to tour or attend a dark sky stargazing event!

Bright Side Bookshop

18 North San Francisco Street, Flagstaff, AZ 86001

Our favorite Independent bookshop in the state of Arizona, a great place to wander through and find an amazing read!

For all the days along the way
