Makena beach is the best option for public beach access for those who are not staying on Wailea beach. Makena beach is a 10-minute drive from the venue (Four Seasons Maui). This beach is known for its large waves, but parking can be limited!
This is a large, outdoor aquarium home to Hawaiian wildlife. The aquarium is a 25-minute drive from the venue.

A 40-minute drive from the venue, La Perouse Bay is a costal walking trail. Be sure to bring shoes with good grip, as you'll be navigating over lava fields and can find some great tide pools. Cell service is limited, and make sure to bring plenty of water!
A famous scenic drive along Maui's coast, with many beautiful stops along the way for you to explore, including waterfalls, Haleakala National Park, hikes, and look out points. A rented car or guided tour is required. (PSA: avoid if you get car sick!)
