Nicole was born in North Carolina, and Ben in Alaska, but fate brought us together almost exactly halfway between those two places—right in Boise, Idaho. Our paths first crossed in middle school, where we never forgot each other's faces or names. Years later, we shared a class at Boise State University, exchanging a brief but memorable hello before life carried us in different directions. But as they say, God opens and closes doors in perfect time. A few years later, we reconnected, and this time, we knew it was something special. On a beautiful day at Lake Cascade, with the water vast and the mountains tall, Ben surprised Nicole with a proposal. In front of a simple but elegant wooden cross he made himself—a symbol of their devotion to their shared faith and their Savior, Jesus Christ—he asked her to spend forever together. She said yes, and the rest is history. We can't wait to begin this new chapter as husband and wife and are so blessed to celebrate it with you. 💙
