If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Nicole at (708) 714-2752. To enter Mexico, your passport must be valid for the entire duration of your trip. We recommend that your passport is more than 6 months from your expiration date since many airlines may deny boarding if it’s any less. It should also have at least one blank page.

Question

Do I have to tip for free food and drinks?

Answer

The tipping culture in Mexico is big. A US dollar goes a long way, and workers are very appreciative of receiving tips. Typically, many will tip a dollar or two or more depending on the service after receiving a drink or meal. It's not technically required, but it is very common to do so. We recommend bringing some cash to tip.
