Nicole and Ben first met over Spanish tapas and margaritas in 2019 at Sevilla Restaurant in Long Beach, California. At that time, Nicole was finishing law school in Orange County and Ben was working as an attorney in Los Angeles. The two attempted to meet somewhere in the middle. On that first date, it felt like they had known each other for years. For the next few months, Ben would drive down to Newport Beach one weekend and Nicole would drive up to Los Angeles the next. It was not long before the couple spontaneously walked into an animal shelter and adopted a fluffy, green-eyed tabby cat named Rory. As their relationship flourished, Nicole and Ben began to go on more adventures together, and spent shabbat dinners and weekends with each other's families. The more time the couple spent together, they realized their goals and values aligned. Two years later, Ben took Nicole to a beautiful lookout point in Malibu and the rest is history.
