In 2017, in Aliso Viejo, California, two paths quietly crossed for the first time. Both Nicole and Bailey had just begun new journeys at NeoGenomics. Bailey, freshly graduated from UCI, was adjusting to life in the corporate world, while Nicole, still in college, was eager to gain hands-on experience in the laboratory setting. Their first glimpse of one another was in a conference room where they signed their onboarding documents — unaware that they’d soon be working in the same department, or that they would one day become such a significant part of each other’s lives. For months, they went about their days without exchanging a word. That changed when Nicole’s supervisor asked her to train Bailey on a task she had already mastered. Bailey was quiet and reserved, making small talk here and there, while Nicole, outgoing and attentive, took the lead and showed him the ropes. From that day forward, their conversations began to grow — first as coworkers, then as friends. Bailey’s shy nature was met with Nicole’s warmth and persistence, and little by little, he began to open up. Over time, he realized his feelings for her were growing deeper. Nicole, however, wasn’t quite ready for a relationship and chose to take some time to focus on herself. They both agreed to see where life would lead them. Nearly a year later, they found themselves back in each other’s hearts — realizing that no amount of time apart could change how they felt. On December 26th, 2021, Nicole and Bailey decided to take the next step and officially begin their journey together. From that moment on, their love grew through countless adventures — from spontaneous trips to Palm Springs, Los Angeles, and San Diego, to cozy coffee dates spent sharing butter croissants and laughter. They discovered how much they had in common: a love for music, trying new foods, and finding joy in life’s simplest moments. Fast forward to 2025 — Nicole and Bailey have built a beautiful life together. Living in their little home, with two Maltipoos, one gecko, and an ever-growing collection of indoor plants, their home is filled with warmth, laughter, and love. And now, as they stand on the threshold of marriage, Nicole and Bailey are ready to begin the next chapter of their story — a lifetime of love, growth, dancing through life’s moments, and endless adventures, side by side.
