We met at UNC our freshman year introduced by a mutual friend. We started studying for classes together as well as making frequent trips to the dining hall! When Austin left for Thanksgiving that year, we kept in constant touch and realized that what we had was something special!

Austin and I decided to take a spring break trip to Scottsdale, Arizona. After a couple days there, Austin insisted that we hike Camelback Mountain. The hike was much more difficult than we anticipated with huge boulders and steep drops. However, we both made it to the top sweaty and red faced but amazed by the views. Austin found a location with not many people and before I knew it he had pulled a ring out of his pocket. I said "YES" and we took many pictures at the top. On the way down Austin stepped wrong on a rock, and sprained his ankle, making this another one of Nicole and Austin's famous adventures...only this time with the promise of forever.
