Austin and Nicole met in high school through mutual friends. They remained friends through high school and during Nicole's time in undergrad. Austin would visit Nicole in undergrad, attending her choir concerts and equestrian vaulting performances. They were always really good friends. After graduation, Nicole was heading off to veterinary school on the island of Grenada, West Indies. Their chemistry sparked before she headed off, but she was adamant that veterinary school would interfere with any type of relationship they could have. Nonetheless, Austin was persistent, and she is so thankful that he was. Fast forward through 6 years, spending countless hours on Facetime thousands of miles apart amongst 3 different countries, who says long distance relationships don't work? They are here to prove otherwise. Next stop? Marriage.
