We were both getting ready to start our new lives at New Mexico State and happened to meet at freshman orientation. From that point on we became each other's support and love while also finding our relationship with God together. Not knowing where the next four years would take us, our relationship and love grew for each other and we knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. In that time we both began pursuing our wildest dreams while our love and commitment kept us grounded and flourishing. We are now ready to continue furthering our relationship in our marriage. In this time we have moved to Omaha, began careers and Dental school, and adopted two fur babies. We couldn't be any more blessed and lucky to find one another so early in life.

We went ring shopping in the fall of 2020 for a "possible" engagement after graduation. After looking for the ring Nicole had no idea but I had already found the perfect one. Little did she know, she was going to get engaged sooner than she thought. After making a few calls to some of Nicole's best friends we had a plan on how I was going to propose. Now, I just needed the blessing from her family. After a quick yes from her dad, stealing the spotlight from her brother, and a very looonnnggg phone call with her mom, auntie, and grandfather it was time to make it happen. We gathered decorations with my family, Nicole's best friends, and our "personal" photographer and headed to NMSU campus where we had first met. All we needed was the final piece... Nicole! Once she arrived in her Under Armour slides I could see the surprised look on her face. As my heart beat out of my chest and my palms sweat, it was time to ask the question surrounded by our family and friends present and on facetime. Of course, she said yes!
