We're getting married!

Anthony and I have known each other for about 20 years. It is safe to say it was definitely not "love" at first sight. It was not even "like" at first sight. Like any normal sister I disliked my older brother's best friend. Anthony wasn't too fond of me either. We could not have had more different perspectives and attitudes about EVERYTHING.. I remember his grandma Ramos saying that we should date and we both laughed out loud! Yeah.. Like THAT would ever happen!... Then out of nowhere.. he started being nice. He even started bringing me coffee to church on Sunday mornings. I knew something was up. I thought "he must REALLY need a friend right now if he's willing to talk to me!" Little did I know that I needed him as my friend. My best friend. After we got all the awkward best friend/sister stuff out of the way, our relationship began to grow. We have shared many adventures together.. fishing, sight-seeing, exploring, cooking, ministering.. and still I never get tired of his company. He has made my life better everyday since asking me to be his girlfriend on July 29, 2019. On December 20, 2020, he took me for a walk on the beach and began to play the ukulele and sing our song "Can't Help Falling in Love." That was one of the first songs we sang together for his grandma Ramos. He said, "You know my grandma always believed in us and knew we belonged together. She's a pretty smart lady.. Well.. I finally got smart too." Then he got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever. Without hesitation, I said yes. I found my #OneInAMilligan! We are so excited to be able to share our journey with all of our closest family and friends on April 3, 2021! So let the countdown begin! 4.3.21
