Things To Do

Here are a few of our favorite things to do and places to eat around town. We hope y'all get the chance to take some time to explore the city!

Rosita's Al Pastor

1801 East Riverside Drive, Austin, TX 78741
, (512) 442-8402

Some of the best street tacos in Austin. They recently opened a brick and mortar where the truck is.

Rainey Street District

Rainey Street, Austin, TX 78701

Bars & brunch for days

Zilker Park Boat Rentals

2101 Andrew Zilker Road, Austin, TX 78746
, (512) 478-3852

Our go-to spot for kayaking or canoeing. Turn right out of the creek for a great view of the city! Cash only.

Blanton Museum of Art

200 East Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard, Austin, TX 78712
, (512) 471-5482

Make sure to check out the Ellsworth Kelly chapel and walk through the UT Campus after your visit!

The Ballroom @ Spider House

2906 Fruth Street, Austin, TX 78705

We went to the Spider House Cafe on our first date. While the Cafe was a victim of the pandemic (RIP), the Ballroom remains a great place to catch a show.

Fallout Theater

616 Lavaca Street, Austin, TX 78701
, (616) 676-7209

Live comedy every night! The Fallout used to be strictly BYOB, but they recently opened an in-house bar.

Barton Springs Municipal Pool

2201 William Barton Drive, Austin, TX 78746
, (512) 974-6300

Do as the Austinites do when the sun is out! Go swimming at the Barton Springs pool!

South Congress Bridge Bats

100 S Congress Avenue, Austin, TX 78701

The famous Austin bat colony comes out at dusk. Perch up by the river and watch them go
