I bet your wondering how they meet… well it was a hot Valentines Day and they were both sitting at home on Facebook dating hoping that this time, they would find the one. They matched and started talking, right away they knew there was something special about to happen but then Nicole got diagnosed with Diabetes and according to Alex “ghosted” him! Well, the truth is Nicole took some time to get her health in order and found herself back in the dating world a few months later. Realizing she had abruptly ended her chat with Alex, she quickly messaged him again. It was like no time had passed and things picked up where they left off. It took some time to meet up and they rescheduled a few times, maybe they were afraid that meeting would change what they had, or maybe they were just two busy adults trying to date in a covid world, either way the big day finally came. The day of their first date they were both so nervous that they each showed up an hour early and just waited their cars. But, once they finally connected face to face everything just fell into place; it was as if they had always known each other, long lost best friends who had finally been rejoined. They planned their second date before the first date even ended. They went on fun adventurous dates every week, dinners, theme parks and then by the 4th date Alex wanted Nicole to meet his sisters. It’s getting serious! Over the next year they ventured farther away from home and visited Nicole’s parents in New York; of course, they loved him! Nicole took a new position at her company and traveled quite a bit for a few months, but nothing was going to stop their love from growing. Little did Nicole know but Alex began to plan a marriage proposal; he bought a ring and waited for the perfect time. The following summer, after a little over a year of dating, amongst Nicole’s parents and sister’s family Alex dropped one knee and asked Nicole to be his wife. Before Alex could utter words, she responded “are you sure” upon seeing him down on one knee. She was completely caught off guard; blissfully unaware that day would be the best day of her life. Obviously she said yes, otherwise this website wouldn’t exist. They decided on a longer engagement so they could plan the next best day of her life… their wedding day!
