A car makes travel so much easier... just remember that you will be driving on the left and through roundabouts. A car really depends but if you want to explore the Causeway Coast, castles and countryside then it is a solid move.
Wear whatever makes you feel fabulous! Keep in mind, when exploring Northern Ireland and Ireland, weather can be moody and unpredictable. Expect some sun, some rain, some wind, some cold and some rainbows. Bring a jacket and sensible shoes for exploring the coast, castles and cobblestones.
Pubs and shops take credit cards, but its also a good idea to have British Pounds (GBP) on hand for taxis and smaller spots. Keep in mind that Northern Ireland uses GBP (British Pounds), while the Republic of Ireland uses euros.
