Christmas in NYC

The Wedding Website of Nicole Introcaso and Omar Escabi
There’s truly nothing like New York City during the holiday season! Every December, we plan a special “Christmas Day” where we play tourist in our own city and soak in all the festive sights, lights, and traditions. Last year’s outing was one to remember! While visiting the iconic Rockefeller Center tree, Omar got down on one knee and made Nicole’s Hallmark holiday dreams come true. To help you make the most of your trip, we’ve put together a list (and map!) of the spots we visited on our engagement day, plus a few more festive favorites. From stunning window displays to cozy Christmas bars, we hope you enjoy experiencing the holiday cheer as much as we do. A quick heads-up: Fifth Avenue gets very busy this time of year. Brace for crowds and bring your holiday spirit! Follow the map below, starting with The Plaza :)
The Plaza

The Plaza

768 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10019

Make a reservation in advance to get into the champagne bar! They will restrict the amount of non guests in the lobby when it gets too busy during the day.

Bergdorf Goodman

The BEST holiday windows on 5th Ave! Start here and work your way down towards the tree.

Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree

Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree

Pro tip: visit the tree from the side entrance on 49th Street or 51st Street instead of 5th Avenue for a less crowded experience.

St. Patrick's Cathedral

St. Patrick's Cathedral

5th Ave, New York, NY 10022, New York, NY 10022

You will have stunning views of the cathedral from our cocktail hour, but still a great stop to go inside and light a candle :)

Lotte Palace New York Lobby & Garden

Lotte Palace New York Lobby & Garden

455 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10022

Gorgeous Christmas trees in both the lobby and the outside garden! The hotel is located behind St. Patrick's and is a nice alternative to the Rockefeller crowds.
